The Franklin Township Fire Department received their charter on May 31, 1951. We are primarily a volunteer-based department. We keep a roster of approximately 50 members. We have 2 stations. Station 55 and station 56.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. Every hour you contribute fuels our programs, strengthens our community, and brings our vision to life. Without more hands-on deck, we can’t reach as many neighbors in need or respond as swiftly when support is required.
We're always looking for passionate volunteers to help turn our vision into reality. Whether you have a little time or a lot, we'll work with you to find a volunteer opportunity that fits your interests and schedule
If you'd like to learn more about joining our department, explore ways to support our community, or simply stop by to say hello and meet our team, we welcome you to visit our station during one of our training nights.
📅 Training is held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM
We hold our annual public meeting for our district taxpayers on the first Monday evening in May every year at 7:30 pm
